Old Town
Oviedo’s historic quarter is one of the best preserved in northern Spain. Its cobbled streets, charming squares and historic buildings such as the Town Hall or Plaza del Fontán will take you back in time.

Cathedral of San Salvador
Oviedo’s impressive Gothic cathedral is a must-see. It houses the Holy Chamber, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and is one of the key points of the Camino de Santiago.

Monte Naranco and Pre-Romanesque
On Monte Naranco you’ll find two jewels of Asturian pre-Romanesque art: Santa María del Naranco and San Miguel de Lillo. From here you can also enjoy panoramic views of the city.

Campoamor Theatre
One of Oviedo’s cultural symbols. Venue for the Princess of Asturias Awards, it offers a wide range of theatre and music throughout the year.

Local Tip
Don’t miss the statue of La Regenta in front of the cathedral or the many sculptures scattered throughout the city. Oviedo is also an open-air museum!
San Francisco Park
One of the city’s green lungs. Perfect for relaxing, strolling or taking a photo with the Mafalda statue on one of its famous benches.
